New place, very clean and modern. Menu was very extensive. Every thing was great, very fresh. The spicy mayo they make themselves portions are healthy sized. Service was prompt even when they got busy for the noon hour.

We went in for a quick lunch and they were pretty full on a Sunday afternoon but were able to squeeze in 9 of us. The server was very friendly and accommodating, getting everything to us as quickly as possible. We all enjoyed everything we tried. I opted for the spicy wings with house sauce and it's one of the best I have ever tasted! I also got sweet potato fries to share with everyone. It was a perfect combination of flavors. The inside was very clean and a large space with movable tables perfect for large groups. Also a large high top for really groups is available. I definitely want to go back and try their other dishes. I saw noodles and rice cakes being served as well

Fun atmosphere with fresh, made-to-order Korean food and K-pop. We had the Korean chicken (sauce on the side) and bulgogi. Huge portions of food, with tempura- like batter for the Korean chicken. Nice change from Buffalo wings and fried chicken.

I went for dinner with a friend a few weeks ago after seeing a flyer for 1981 K Chicken at the Asian grocery store in the Indian Creek shopping center. It was pretty cold out, and I was hungry, so it was great to have quick service. The waiter was extremely friendly and explained the various options available to us depending on the type of chicken we wanted and the spice levels. We shared the fried dumplings (choice of meat or veggie) and I had a decent South Korean lager. They've got beer towers which looked intriguing, but was too much for just two of us. Next, I had the boneless chicken thighs with spicy sweet chili and spicy soy. Both were extra crispy and delicious. For $15, I thought I had too much food (not a bad problem these days). I don't live in OP, but I'd definitely drive back to go here!

This is simply my personal preference, and it doesn't mean the food is bad. For me, the chicken flavor is just average. While I prefer other places, let's start with the positives. The chicken itself is crispy and cooked well, with generous portions. If you're a regular, you might even get a little extra. However, I'm not a fan of the sauce. It's not terrible, but I find it either too sweet or not quite the right match for the chicken. That being said, it's not unpleasant--just not to my taste. The fries are excellent--crispy, flavorful, and definitely a highlight. I have no complaints there. Out of everything, the Spicy Rice Cakes was the highlight. They're perfectly balanced--neither too sweet nor too spicy. The rice cakes have a great texture, cooked just right, and have a satisfying consistency. I'm taking away one star because of the sauce, but overall, this place is definitely worth a visit!

They will always get 5 stars. We tried the Ramen for the first time. The waitress said there's meat. There is no meat. It needs meat. Even a couple of slices of pork belly or something.

Loved the crunchy chicken with sweet sauce chili! Subtotal was $11 for the 6 pieces. 5 stars for the food and service. 4 stars for the plastic straws (bringing out without asking- hope they switch to compostable). I will definitely return and try more dishes.

I dont know anything about Korean fried chicken outside of Bonchon, but if this is what it's like, I need more. They're open but it's still a soft opening so some of the menu items weren't available but if the chicken we tried is any indication of things to come later, it'll be amazing. The server was really attentive. He was engaging & apologetic about the menu items that they couldn't serve yet. He didn't hover which I love. There weren't a lot of people in there but he didn't stand over us. The fried combo platter was a lot of food to share. The wings were ah-mazing!!! The crisp on the bone in glazed honey doy sold me. The boneless wings were generous in the meat to breading ratio. Their fries were on the sweeter side, like Brown Sugar Chicken & Donuts used to be. They balanced well with the melted cheese. I can't wait to come back to try the ramen.
